Impermanence

Unlike Ivar I quite liked castings last night- also unlike Ivar, I quite disliked my set.
I kinda felt it (my set) was pretty weak- both in structure and material.
People seemed to give some fairly positive feedback, but I can never tell these days what is genuine and what is obligatory comment... no offence to anybody!

I think that castings always shows so much potential (although its rarely reached) producing absolutely beautiful sonic moments. Enjoyable.

Matt and Inge were fairly painful in most senses of the word. They take minimalism very seriously - which I can respect. Although I wonder sometimes wether they are trying to bore us to death with an unbelievably sparse and long set.

Just tellin' it like it is.

"...castings always shows so much potential... producing absolutely beautiful sonic moments" for me these moments only occured one or twice for a very short time. Was all reset worth listening to for these moments? maybe? i guess these moments would only have happen because they developed from the rest. Im still not excited granted this was the first time i have seen them.

Yeah- I'll say that this last set was perhaps my favorite of all 3 (i think) times that I've seen 'em. The drummer/singer is a bit annoying at times, I feel like he needs to be shown the difference between good feedback and very painful bad feedback.

I'd say there was maybe about 5 moments in that set where I found the sounds working together really beautifully.

Anyways thanks for the feedback anyhow.
